Fugitive Safe Surrender Program

Update 2018: New Jersey unforturnately has not kept up with this program and although had great impact, it has not been utilized recently.

Often times our clients have been charged with an offense, have a warrant out for their arrest, have not yet been taken into custody, and are tired of living in fear that they will be apprehended in a traffic stop, at work, or on the street.

In these cases, we will sometimes advise our clients to turn themselves into the Fugutive Safe Surrender Program (FSSP).  This is a program designed for non-violent offenders, and most of the time will allow our clients to turn themselves in without being arrested.

If you have been charged with a crime, and are a fugitive, it is imperative that you contact one of our criminal defense lawyers immediately.  For a free consultation, please call 201-943-2445.
